PuzzlePic privacy policy · Effective September 4, 2026
PuzzlePic is an iPhone and iPad jigsaw app from The Clairos Group. This policy explains how information is handled by the app, its advertising and purchase services, and this support website.
Your puzzle photos and progress stay on your device. PuzzlePic has no account, puzzle backend, or cloud-sync service. Advertising and App Store purchases use third-party services as described below.
Your photos and puzzles
You can select a photo using Apple’s photo picker or take a photo after granting camera permission. PuzzlePic uses that image to make your puzzle and stores a processed copy in the app’s local storage. It strips image metadata from the puzzle image. Your puzzle image, original filename, photo metadata, puzzle arrangement, and progress are not sent to us or supplied to advertising services.
Saved puzzles, completion history, play time, and preferences are stored locally so you can continue playing. The original starter artworks are bundled with the app and require no download or account.
Advertising and consent
The free version uses Google AdMob to show occasional video interstitial ads after you choose to leave an eligible completed puzzle. Ads do not interrupt an active puzzle. PuzzlePic requests non-personalized ads, disables Google’s publisher first-party ID, and does not request permission to access Apple’s advertising identifier (IDFA).
Non-personalized advertising still involves data processing. Google’s advertising services may process network addresses and approximate location inferred from them; app or device identifiers where available; ad impressions, video views, and interactions; and crash, diagnostic, and performance information. These data support ad delivery, measurement, fraud prevention, and service operation. PuzzlePic does not send your puzzle photos or photo filenames with ad requests.
Google’s User Messaging Platform provides consent messages and privacy options where required. Open Settings → Ad privacy choices when available to review or change those choices, including after purchasing Remove Ads. Availability and the choices presented depend on your region and Google’s consent requirements. Consent settings can affect whether ads are available.
A verified Remove Ads purchase stops further ad requests and presentations. It does not erase data already processed by Google. See Google’s Privacy Policy and Google Mobile Ads data disclosures for its practices and privacy controls.
Purchases
Remove Ads is an optional one-time purchase, not a subscription. Apple handles payment through the App Store. PuzzlePic uses Apple’s StoreKit purchase records to verify, restore, and maintain your entitlement, including changes such as refunds or revocation. We do not receive your payment card information or Apple Account password.
You can restore the purchase using the same Apple Account in the Remove Ads screen. Apple’s handling of purchase information is described in Apple’s Privacy Policy.
Your controls and retention
- Delete a puzzle: removes that puzzle’s photo copy and progress from PuzzlePic. It does not delete the original from your Photos library.
- Remove the app: removes its local app data from that device. Device and iCloud backups follow your Apple backup settings and may retain copies; manage those through Apple’s settings.
- Permissions: review or revoke camera permission in your device’s Settings. You choose which photo to import through the system picker.
- Advertising: use the in-app privacy choices when available, or purchase Remove Ads. Apple and Google manage information held by their own services under their policies.
We cannot retrieve, inspect, or delete puzzle data stored only on your device. Contact us about information you have sent directly to support, including requests to access, correct, or delete it.
Support and this website
If you email josh@clairos.ai, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include. We use that information to answer your request and resolve the issue, and retain it as needed for that purpose and applicable recordkeeping. Do not send private photos, payment details, or passwords.
These PuzzlePic support pages do not include advertising scripts, analytics scripts, or tracking cookies. Our web server receives ordinary request information, such as your IP address, requested page, browser information, and request time, to deliver the site, diagnose problems, and protect the service. Following links to Apple or Google takes you to services with their own policies.
Audience
PuzzlePic is intended for a general audience and is not directed specifically to children. If you believe a child has sent personal information to our support address, contact us so we can address it.
Changes and contact
We will update this page when PuzzlePic’s practices change and revise the effective date above. For privacy questions or requests, contact The Clairos Group at josh@clairos.ai.
