Anti-SaaS by design

SaaS is great for companies, not always for people. Renting access to tools means rent on your data, too. Clairos flips the default: installable software first, self-hosted options second, and the cloud only when you explicitly choose it.

Proprietary, not open-source—on purpose

Clairos software is proprietary. That choice lets us move quickly, deliver high polish, and provide clear accountability. Proprietary does not mean opaque: we document what runs, what is stored, and how to export or delete your data. When we incorporate third-party open components, we comply with their licenses and disclose them.
